No, the BridgeLink can do more than just exchange data at the interfaces described. It may be necessary to programmatically extend the BridgeLink for this purpose; we are happy to offer this service as well.
Yes, there is both a paid and a free solution for using FHIR with BridgeLink.
Yes, both HCM and RFC interfaces can be implemented via the BridgeLink.
The extension is always tied to a specific BridgeLink version and usually needs to be recompiled/rebuilt by the extension's developer whenever BridgeLink is updated. With a Java library, the BridgeLink version does not need to be checked beforehand (unless the library uses BridgeLink functions); it can be updated without further checks.
