Experience AI in practice
The healthcare sector is currently experiencing a wave of new AI-based solutions. In the field of medical documentation, these solutions can be broadly divided into two main categories, which may also be interlinked: “ambient listening” functions and systems for the automated generation of medical reports and physician letters. In this context, we are regularly asked for our experience and insights.
MARIS has more than 20 years of experience with IT solutions for medical documentation. We work closely with Microsoft, Corti, and Solventum to thoroughly assess and evaluate the solutions offered by various providers of speech-based software.
Our B|flow system uses AI technology to generate surgical reports and discharge summaries. We rely on deterministic rather than generative methods. As part of the “MoReEye” project, we are also scientifically involved in exploring AI-assisted video analysis and text generation for surgical reports using this technology.
